Don't Forget Your Swimmies, It's Time For The
The Nike Skate Warehouse is going to be a slam dunk of skate legends this Saturday. Just look at the list: Jay Adams, Duane Peters, Tony Alva, Christian Hasoi, Chris Ortiz, enough said.
So all you shredders up in Oregon leave the park by your house. Shit, Oregon is so fucking full of skate parks I know there's one by your house. Anyway, cruise over to Nike and check out some cool art as you watch the forefathers get their slay on.

August 5, 2008, Los Angeles ? For the first time, global youth brand Hurley will present the 2008 Oregon Trifecta from Friday August, 15 through Sunday, August 17 in three skate parks in Oregon and Washington.
Stops six, seven, and eight on the World Cup Skateboarding Bowl Riders Series, the Oregon Trifecta welcomes amateur, advanced and pro skaters to compete for their share of the $20,000 purse and the Oregon Trifecta Trike. Registration opens at 10am daily and all events are free and open to the public.
The Oregon Trifecta begins on Friday at Lincoln City Skate Park in Lincoln City, Oregon, continues Saturday at Tigard Skate Park in Tigard, Oregon, and concludes at Battleground Skate Park in Battleground, Washington.
The official party of the Oregon Trifecta, ?Pool Rules,? will take place on Saturday, August 16 at the Nike Skate Park in Portland. The event, from 7pm-11pm, will be attended by Hurley team riders Steve Alba, Pat Ngoho, Nick Yamasato, Dyson Ramones, Vince Del Valle, and Alan Young and feature a collection of photos, paintings and pool skating memorabilia from over 20 artists.
Part of Hurley?s signature ?Against The Grain? artist series, ?Pool Rules? celebrates the inspiration and passion that drives an underground subculture of skateboarders obsessed with skating in drained swimming pools, and applauds four decades of the world?s finest skateboard legends and their invaluable and immeasurable creative contribution to the sport and its culture.
